Mikko Järvinen

Mikko has over 15 years of experience in adding substantial value to small medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as coaching and advising early stage and growth ventures in the areas of entrepreneurial finance, capital structures, and valuation. Before co-founding True North Search, he was a CEO/COO of several ventures in the health technology and digital service consultancy industries.

His interest in entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) was deepened when he conducted an extensive feasibility study of the search fund model for the Finnish market. The study was commissioned by Tesi, Finland’s state-owned investment company with €1.3bn of assets under management.

In addition to this, he authored a book on entrepreneurship which is used in several university curriculums. Mikko holds an M.Sc. (Econ.) from Aalto University, majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation management.
