Gautam is a seasoned business professional with +30 years of experience and a track record of executing M&A transactions and step change operations and performance improvements for private equity portfolio companies, global Fortune 500 firms, and small medium enterprises (SMEs).

After his stint in the corporate world, Gautam decided to pursue the acquisition entrepreneurship path. He successfully acquired a US-based energy services firm and exited with annual IRR 28% on the investment. Currently, he is an investor, board member, and a Professor of Practice at the Aalto University School of Business.

He holds a PhD in Operations Management from Aalto University, MBA in Finance and Operations from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Supply Chain Management executive program.
